There’s a band called Zeal & Ardor which constructs an alternate reality based on enslaved people rejecting Christianity and instead embracing Satanism through their albums— could I nominate like, “worldbuilding” or “original Black character” within that band?
(The frontman/writer/singer is Black, so it meets that qualification too, even though he wouldn’t really be a character.)
